The Max Charge regulator is really "SMART". It features automatic multi-stage charging, start up delay for engine oil pressure and two alternator capability. Absorption charge time is automatically adjusted depending on whether the battery was full or depleted when the engine is started. Absorption and float voltages are selectable for six battery types or a charge program can be set by the user.
